Tell me about your business

Tell me about your business.

Every business has a story. This conversation is simply about understanding yours and exploring what the right next step looks like.

No pressure. No preparation. No judgment.

Who this call is for

For the person who feels responsible for it all.

You're a REALTOR® or you run a brokerage. The work is going well. The business is growing. But the financial side still feels heavier than it should.

  • The feast and famine swing.

One great month carries the next slow one, and it never feels like you're getting ahead.

  • The quiet money shame.

Avoiding the reports. Not saying the numbers out loud. Wondering why it still feels this hard.

  • The tax-time guess.

Setting aside what feels right, hoping it is enough, and waiting to see what the tax season brings.

This conversation is where clarity starts replacing pressure.

What we'll talk about

What we'll explore together.

Nothing to prepare. We'll ask thoughtful questions, you'll answer honestly, and together we'll build a clear picture of where your business stands.

Your current systems

How your finances are managed today: software, spreadsheets, a bookkeeper, a shoebox? There's no right answer. We simply start where you are.

Your cash-flow habits

What happens when money arrives, where it tends to go, and whether your current approach is creating stability or stress.

Your pressure points

Taxes, debt, payroll, the thing you keep putting off. Whatever pinches most, we name it.

Your goals

What you want your business to make possible, and what financial confidence would look like for you.

Inside the Industry

Twenty years inside the business you'll be describing.

Blue Jean was built by professionals who spent decades inside real estate brokerages, from reception and conveyance to accounting and financial leadership. We've seen successful professionals earn meaningful incomes while still feeling financially trapped, and we've watched the same patterns repeat year after year. Those years shaped more than our experience. They shaped what we believe.

Blue Jean exists because we believe financial stress should never be accepted as the price of success. Today, we're an award winning financial practice built exclusively for real estate. When you describe your business, you're speaking with people who understand how brokerages and REALTORS® actually operate because we learned the business from the inside out.

Reception · Conveyance · Accounting · Financial Leadership · Advisory

No judgment. Ever.

Wherever your books are today, this is a safe place to start..

Years behind. Receipts in a bag. Numbers you'd rather not say out loud. None of it changes where we begin. We simply start where you are.

What you'll walk away with

  • A clear read.

You'll leave with clarity about what's working, what's creating pressure, and where to focus next.

  • An honest recommendation.

If we're the right fit, we'll explain why. If we're not, we'll tell you that too.

  • Your next step either way.

Whether we work together or not, you'll leave knowing your next step. No pressure. No chasing.

In their words

What clients say after years together.

I trust them completely with my tax and CRA responsibilities, so I can focus on what I do best, real estate. Rae makes sure you understand everything.

Questions worth asking

Questions before we start.

  • My books are a mess. Should I clean them up first?

No. Come as you are. Cleanup and catch up are part of what we do. Whether you're months behind or simply feeling overwhelmed, we'll meet you where you are and help you move forward from there.

  • I don't need a new bookkeeper. Can Blue Jean still help?

Absolutely. Many businesses already have bookkeeping in place. We work alongside existing bookkeepers, accountants, and internal teams to strengthen your financial foundation through cleanup, training, cash flow guidance, reporting improvements, and strategic advisory.

  • Is bookkeeping the only way to work with Blue Jean?

No. Advisory is at the heart of what we do. We support businesses through financial advisory, transactional services, training, specialty engagements, and strategic guidance. Every engagement begins with understanding where your business is today, then recommending the combination of services that will create the greatest value.

  • What do you mean by advisory?

Bookkeeping records the past. Advisory helps you make decisions about the future. We help you understand your numbers, improve cash flow, strengthen financial systems, and make confident business decisions based on where your business is today and where you want it to go.

  • Do I have to move my bookkeeping to Blue Jean?

Not necessarily. We regularly work alongside existing bookkeepers, accountants, and internal finance teams. Every engagement is built around where you'll receive the most value. If moving your bookkeeping ever becomes the right next step, we'll discuss it together.

  • How do I know if I need advisory instead of bookkeeping?

If your books are up to date but you're still asking questions like "Can I afford this?", "Where is my cash going?", "How much should I pay myself?" or "Why doesn't my business feel as profitable as it should?", bookkeeping probably isn't the problem. Those are advisory conversations.

  • How do I know which service is right for me?

You don't need to figure that out before we talk. The first conversation is about understanding your business, what's working well, where the pressure exists, and what support would create the greatest impact. If we're the right fit, we'll recommend the service that best matches your needs. If we're not, we'll tell you that too.

  • What does the first conversation cost?

Nothing. The conversation is complimentary. It's an opportunity to understand your business, answer your questions, and determine whether we're the right fit. If we recommend working together, we'll explain the options and the investment before you make any decisions. You'll always understand your options before making a decision.
